President's scholarships - 8 will be awarded to students who have made significant contributions to their schools & and communities, and who demonstrate leadership potential and academic distinction.
Lincoln Alexander Scholarships -2 awarded. These scholarships will be awarded with a focus on Aboriginal Peoples, students with disabilities and racial minorities as well as academic distinction and significant contributions to their school and community.
Chancellors’ Scholarships – 2- These scholarships will be given to students who demonstrate the potential for leadership and have an interest in international relations, which they are planning to pursue through further study.
Students must have a minimum of 90% average to be considered. Candidates apply directly for scholarship by: completing an on line application; along with a covering letter, a biographical listing of candidate's schools, community involvement and leadership for the last 3 years, plus two letters of reference; and an official transcript. Valued at $40,000. each, these scholarships include a research assistantship position and mentorship by one of Guelph’s leading professors.
